We Care is a ministry of First Presbyterian that focuses on physical needs of members. This ministry provides help for those who are in need of assistance for home care needs they're unable to accomplish themselves. For those members who, because of an illness or accident, find themselves in need of temporary assistance, the 'We Care' volunteers keep a freezer stocked with food to help with meals, or provide help with basic home maintenance needs such as plumbing, carpentry, yard work. Volunteers will also help with transportation needs such as to doctor's appointments or trips to the grocery store or pharmacy. For more information call the office at 773-3814.
