This vocal group gathers in 4-6 week intervals, two-to-three times each year, to learn and present a choral offering for our congregation. We typically rehearse on Sunday evenings from 6:00-7:00. The group includes youth in grades 6th-12th who come to share a mixture of traditional songs, hymns, upbeat tunes, and praise songs that glorify our awesome God.
The Youth Singers transform into the Presbyterian Youth Players, an acting troupe that comes together to learn and present a faith-based dramatic work for our congregation! This group also typically rehearses on Sunday evenings from 6:00-7:00. The troupe’s mission is to provide youth with an opportunity to creatively express their relationship with Jesus Christ and to share that experience with the congregation and their fellow youth.
This group assembles at various times during the year to prepare for special instrumental offerings! Handbells and Strings are two examples of the different types of ensembles that gather to share the joy of sacred music with each other and the FPC congregation!
Play loudly on musical instruments, on harps and lyres
and cymbals, to raise sounds of joy. 1 Chron. 15:16
