Sunday Night Middle School Youth Group
Most Sunday nights from 5:30 to 6:00 in the evening our middle school
youth group gathers in the West Youth building for their program. Although
each Sunday youth group is a little different, they all normally include
just hanging out while playing pool, ping pong, or foosball, then we play
really fun games as a group, and end with an interesting and relevant Bible
study. Following large group discussion we divide into small groups for connecting
and making the lessons personal. We invite all middle school youth to come
and be a part of this special time each Sunday night. Please check out this
month’s calendar for the latest schedule. Return to

5:30 in the evening, the high school youth gather for their weekly
meeting. This usually takes place in the West Youth building. Most

High School Youth Chick-Fil-A Prayer Breakfast
Every Wednesday that is a school day, the high school youth meet at
the Chick-Fil-A on Broad Street for fellowship, to hang out with friends
from other schools, and to pray together. It is a great way to start the
day and to stay plugged in with the youth ministry. High school youth are
welcome to join us. All non-driving youth will be given a ride to school
if they can get a ride to Chick-Fil-A. Return to Top
High School Youth Samaritan House Ministry
One Sunday a month the high school youth take
dinner to the Samaritan House of Sumter, our only local homeless shelter.
We provide a hearty, home cooked meal as well as a short devotion as we visit
with the current guests. We also check in with Mr. Henry, the caretaker,
to see what Samaritan House’s
needs are for each month. We enjoy projects that allow us to pitch in by
helping paint and other odd projects in support of this program.
Middle School Youth Mission Projects
One Sunday a month, the Middle School Youth go to Crosswell Home or Carriage
House, where they join in celebration of Christ’s love with others.
This has proven to be an exciting and fun time to grow in their understanding
of serving others.
